5 minute Bohemian updo

By

What you'll need:

Small hair bands

Bobby pins

Hairspray

To first start this bohemian updo make sure your hair has some sort of texture. It can be a slight natural wave, or you can use some curlers. My favorite kind to use is conair's 1/2 inchcurling iron, or my new favorite is conair ion shine heat setters. They come with clips so you're getting heat from both sides of the curl. They're really simple, just leave them in for about 15 minutes and you're good to go.

The easy part!

After you have some texture in your hair we're going to start pulling the hair back. You're going to take a small section right at the left side of your neck, then pull it into a small pony. Then yu're going to go two inches up and to the right of that first pony and make another pony on a new row. Your third pony is going to be right at the nape of your neck and back in line with your first pony. So basically you're creating a zig zag effect like the first picture to the side. You'll continue doing this until you have five pony tails. Next your simply going to tug on the ponys to add a little bit of texture to the hair.

Then you're going to take the first pony and twist it, then pull it into a bun. Pin it into place using the bobby pins, making sure to cover up the hair bands. Do that through the rest of the pony tails. Then spray it with hair spray making sure it stays in place, and you're done! A simple bohemian updo great for dressing up, or a simple night on the town! You could even put in a cute head band with a flower on the side, I think this would just help play it up a little for more of an everyday style.

Hi, nice to see another newcomer. Cute idea, just need to fix a few typing errors and should be a good page.
